We've passed the half way point of Season One of Star Wars Rebels and the series seems to be firing on all cylinders. And it seems that the wild ride won't stop as we race towards to season one finale. As for the finale itself, series star Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla) is promising some big things. Marshall sat down with Entertainment Weekly recently and, among many things, teased what's to come in the finale.
"The season finale took my breath away," said Marshall. "Just reading it on the page I hyperventilated. It’s just, bam! It’s a home run. Bam! It’s so good. I cannot wait to see how they animate it. I haven’t seen it animated. It’s so good. It will not disappoint."
Sounds like something big is coming, like really big (moon sized big?) The season has been building up several issues and directions the finale could go, such as what the Empire is doing in the outer rim, Ezra's Jedi training, several Rebel groups coming together. So much potential, we'll just have to wait and see.
Star Wars Rebels returns on January 19th with "Idiot's Array" at 9pm on Disney XD.
