So in 2014, I introduced you all to the artwork of the various Star Wars custom action figure artists that could be found throughout the world. In 2015, I'm hoping to keep that tradition going.
Finding another 52 artists to fill the weeks for the upcoming year will be a real challenge, because truthfully, I'm not sure if there will enough active artists out there to feature.
Therefore, I may have to scale back how often Darth Daddy's Customizing Corner is published, or to keep things going, I may have to branch out from last year's format of featuring a new artist every week, and instead write about other aspects of the Star Wars custom action figure community than just the artists and their offerings.
I'm hoping by now, a few of you have been bitten by the customizing bug. If you have, I'd love to share some information about two Star Wars fan sites that always have custom action figure contests being held no matter what time of year it is. Yakface.com and Imperialshipyards.net have been catering to Star Wars custom action figure contests for years. If you are interested in getting in on the action yourself, here are links to two custom action figure contests going on right now! Custom contests are a lot of fun to participate in and it's really cool to see what the competition brings to the table.

ImperialShipyards.net recently posted up a new customizing contest and this one is pretty simple. To enter, you just need to create a "Star Wars themed" custom figure in the six inch scale line. Click here to see the full details and get started!
