When Adam Driver got the role in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens some of his cast mates on HBO's Girls may have thought this meant they were going to have the inside track on the new Star Wars film. Not so, as it turns out. Driver has apparently been very tight lipped about the next installment in the saga. Girls creator and star Lena Dunham and co-star Jemima Kirke spoke with MTV recently about their failed attempts to get information out of Driver.
Via MTV,
“He’s a person with an iron will, solid refusal,” Dunham, Driver’s on-screen girlfriend, said. “I don’t even know that he is [in it], I only know it from internet rumors and the fact that he was like gone from our set for a while.”
Kirke concurred.
“He won’t even tell us what his hours are, if his costume’s heavy or light, there’s nothing,” she said. “At this point he just gets off on that.”
