Some new images of sets from the next wave of Lego Star Wars sets from The Force Awakens were released this weekend by the online toy retailer The Entertainer. They are "Resistance Troop Transport" and "The Battle on Takodana". Check out the images below,
The Resistance Troop Transport set appears to come with minifigures of General Leia, Admiral Ackbar, and a couple of Resistance troopers. The ship looks great! It definitely appears to have been inspired by the B-Wing, which especially cool since we just saw the origin of the B-Wing on Star Wars Rebels a few weeks ago.
The Battle on Takodana set looks cool as well, if a bit small. I think this is the first product we've seen that features both Finn with a lightsaber, Kylo Ren with a removable mask, or Maz Kanata at all. It also seems to confirm that Maz Kanata's castle is on Takodana.
No word yet when the sets are slated release, but I would speculate that early 2016 is likely.
