Now that everyone has seen The Force Awakens at least 10 times the film is beginning to move out of theaters, which means we can look ahead to a time when we can enjoy the movie in the comfort of our own homes. Today the release date for The Force Awakens Blu-ray surfaced and it looks like we won't have to wait that long. Furious Fanboys reports that Amazon sent an email to those who had pre-ordered The Force Awakens which revealed the date of release for the Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD versions to be April 5th. Further confirmation came from the listing for The Force Awakens on Amazon.com:
So there you have it. You'll be able to watch The Force Awakens on your TV, tablet or phone in a little over 2 months. I know I certainly can't wait!
