When we got word from Hasbro last week that they would not be debutting any new toys from the upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story many assumed (myself included) that Rogue One would follow the same merchandise release schedule as The Force Awakens (a Force Friday event in September with no general releases or reveals prior to that event). Turns out that may not be the case. Vandor (who make drinkware, bags, lunch boxes, etc.) is apparently getting the word out that they will have Rogue One products on display at Toy Fair and an Amazon listing has been found for a 2017 Rogue One calendar which is scheduled to be released in June 2016.

So, it looks like things will be somewhat different with Rogue One than they were with The Force Awakens. There is still no word on when we can expect a trailer for the film, but at least we'll be getting a peak a the film soon.
