News about Star Wars: Episode VIII has been bountiful recently due to production on the film beginning to wind down. In recent weeks we heard that filming would be wrapping up on July 22nd, and that several cast members, such as John Boyega and Anthony Daniels, had finished their work on the film. Now appears two of the film's biggest stars have completed all their scenes for Episode VIII.
Earlier today it was revealed that Daisy Ridley, who plays Scavenger-turned-Jedi Rey, had wrapped filming for Episode VIII. Ridley shared the news via a photo posted to her Instagram:
In addition, earlier this week Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, seemingly confirmed that he too had finished his work on Episode VIII via a heartfelt Instagram post about the recent wrap party:
With much of the major talent finishing up work at Pinewood Studios, hopefully we can expect to see them appear at Star Wars Celebration Europe. Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill have panels of their own, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that John and Daisy will show up at the Future Filmmakers panel on Sunday.
