In the last few minutes Daisy Ridley has been officially voted the Movie Breakout Star, for her breakthrough performance as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, at this year's Teen Choice Awards ceremony.

This accolade has been won by similar unknown actors and actresses prior to Daisy Ridley's nomination. Previously the award has been won by Cara Delvingne (Paper Towns) and Ansel Elgort (Divergent & Fault In The Stars). Ridley certainly deserves the awards that she has received over the past six months because her performance in the Force Awakens was outstanding. Some of her other accolades have included the same recognition at this year's MTV Movie Awards.
