Season three of Star Wars Rebels is set to kick off this Saturday with the two part episode "Steps Into Shadow". Just ahead of the big reveal, we have got our hands on a new clip and a gallery of images from the episode.
"Steps Into Shadow" will pick up from where season two left off with the Ghost crew at their hidden base on Atollon. Ezra, who is now significantly more powerful, has taken charge of their growing rebel cell. New allies will be found, and a new red eyed, blue skinned antagonist will prove to be one of the greatest challenges the rebels have ever faced.
All of the beloved cast members are returning, including Taylor Gray as Ezra Bridger, Freddie Prinze Jr. as Kanan Jarrus, Vanessa Marshall as Hera Syndulla, Steve Blum as Zeb Orellios and Tiya Sircar as Sabine Wren, among many others. Newcomers to the cast include Tom Baker as The Bendu and Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Today, Lucasfilm released a new clip from the episode. In it, we see a frustrated Ezra seeks counsel from the Sith Holocron he acquired on Malachor last season. You can watch it below:
